NORDEN –NORTH
This catalog, which was produced in collaboration with the exhibition Norden, curated by Brigitte Kölle and Sabine Folie at the Kunsthalle in Vienna, is full of critical essays and exceptionally well-produced photographs. An odd feature of the catalog is the use of glossy paper for the pages with the images while the texts are printed on regular opaque paper. The historical and critical research on the art of the Scandinavian countries from the 1960s, from the Pop Art movement to the young artists of today, is extremely thorough. The catalog tries to trace the origins of traditional themes such as light or nature that are present in Nordic art, old poetics belonging to the Scandinavian painters of the middle of the 19th century. In Italian and English.

Aernout Mik, primal gestures, minor rolesThis recently published catalog was produced in honor of the solo exhibition of the same name at the Stedelijk Van Abbemuseum in Eindhoven. This is the first exhibition of this young artist in a museum space, whose very architecture Mik has transformed and reinvented, creating new opportunities to view his videos, objects, photographs and installations. The work of the Dutch artist, who was invited to the Venice Biennial in 1997, is thoroughly documented, starting with his earliest works and going up to his most recent videos such as Mob (1998) and Piñata (1999). The works included in the catalog really bring out his poetics, which is based on reconstruction of spaces and the relationship that develops between the perceptions of the viewer and his environmental installations. With writings by Jaap Guldemond, Jan Debbaut, Bernhard Balkenhol, Tijs Goldschmidt, Mark Kremer e Maxine Kopsa.

State of grace. Robert Gligorov. Selected works
This work brings together many of the most talked-about photographic works by Macedonian artists living in Italy for the last several years. The large, high-quality photographs are organized by theme: State of Grace – which is also the title of the book - fantastic Teracotomie, from the "Pools" series, Portraits, In Action, Vegeta Vegetalis, Project 008-12-59. The graphic design of the book is interesting and very striking in the way it uses defined colors and outlines of the forms. This work by Gligorov is introduced by two essays, by Achille Bonito Oliva and Paul Ardenne.
