This prestigious catalog, with an elegant graphic content, was put together for the exhibition at the Kunstmuseum in Basle and at the Menil Collection in Houston. Sam Samore. Pathological Tales/Schizophrenic Stories
This catalog was produced for the solo show by Sam Samore at the Casino Luxembourg, a forum for contemporary art in Luxembourg. By means of essays, interviews in English and French, and excellent color photo reproductions, the catalog stands as a first complete, all-encompassing collection of Samore’s artistic oeuvre. All the photographic series are included, starting from the artist’s first work The Suicidist (1973), continuing with the numerous photographic stories from the ‘80s and ‘90s, right up to The I from 2000, shown for the first time in the exhibition. The book also includes the artist’s installations such as Forest of Schizophrenic Love Stories (1998), The Magic Bed (1995) and Bewitched by Cold Water Well created at the ICA in Portland. The catalog contains several critical essays including an interview with Samore by Jerome Sans entitled Interview with the Vampire.

Les figures de la marche
This catalogue, published for the two exhibitions De Rodin à Giacometti and De Beuys a Nauman, held at the Musée Picasso of Antibes, offers a rich photographic record of artworks from this century which represent marching human figures. The essays are careful studies tracing the interpretation and reproduction of this singular iconographic form within the history of art and cultural traditions. The authors are Maurice Fréchuret, Daniel Arasse, Patricia Falguières, Lionel Bourg, Éric Michaud, Maurice Fréchuret and Gilles A. Tiberghien, and Thierry Davila.

Stefan Banz. A Shot Away Some Flowers
This catalogue gathers together photographic images of the numerous works created by Swiss artist Stefan Banz who uses a variety of different media such as photography, video, painting and writing. The central focus of Banz’s work is the relationship between images of reality and the individual’s perception of it. This dilemma is treated in a highly radical way in his videos (recorded in the catalogue by individual frame) such as Door to door, a dialogue between the artist and his neighbors in Lucerne. The main characters in his work (the artist himself, his two children and some relatives) are filmed in their everyday family lives. The volume closes with two texts in English and German by Christoph Doswald and Thomas Wulffen.
